First Post, bare with me...2012 Resolutions!

As I start the new year, I want to write down my goals for 2012.  First and foremost is enriching my childrens lives through culture, love and knowledge.  Secondly, of course being a good wife, blah blah blah (ha) and Third, being the best photographer I can be.  In 2012 I will take more classes to expand my knowledge of photography, look into advertising myself more - facebook just isn't cutting it, and really establish myself as a photographer in my community.  When the boys are grown I would love to have my own business/studio that allows me the freedom to be there for my boys when they need me as well as run a successful photography business so til then I need to bust my butt getting established.  That's not too much to ask for right?  I wish I could tell every single person how much I love photography, taking pictures and running a business but I'm pretty sure people will soon get annoyed and I'll lose friends, ha.  I want so badly to be booked with sessions for months in advance for every single weekend, I love photography, I love people and I love processing each and every picture.  I'm hoping in 2012 I will start doing wedding portraits, I already have some great ideas, just need the opportunity.  I as well want to be more known in the photography community, either through my blogs, photographs or possibly even mentoring camera newbies.  I'm still learning too as any photographer is but I feel I have a good base of knowledge for any newbie starting out.  On a side note, another resolution is to believe in myself more and not to be so hard on myself.  :) Thanks for taking the time to read this, now onward!!!
